The Ministry of Health and Wellness will be hosting the fifteenth annual National Health Research Conference (NHRC), with the theme: Health and Wellness: Everybody’s Business.

Presenters and researchers will present abstracts and talks under five (5) main thematic areas. These are: (i) Workplace health and wellness, (ii) Factors associated with healthcare delivery, (iii) Violence & injuries in vulnerable groups, (iv) Technology in Health and (v) Climate Change and Health. Additionally, the Conference will also highlight abstracts of high quality research that complement the above Conference themes.

The Minister of Health the Hon. Dr Christopher Tufton in his Sectoral presentation in May 2024 highlighted the Ministry’s thrust for healthcare transformation. Transformation will require Health and Wellness being Everybody’s Business.

NHRC 2024 will feature interesting presentations and panel discussions. Three (3) days of research, innovation and policy focus with twenty-six (26) Oral and twenty-one (21) Poster presentations.

The conference will offer continuing medical education credits, mental health and ethics credits for all health and health allied professionals.
